Error with connection between fabric data factory to local intranet URL specific with company domain

I m facing problem while creating connection between fabric data factory to local intranet url...

Below are the steps from starting which I followed-

1- created fabric capacity n linked with fabric portal

2- create work space 

3- created data pipeline n used web activity

4- tried to create connection for intranet url with basic authentication 

But giving error.

" request didn't reach the server from the client. This could happen because of an underlying issue such as network connectivity, a DNS failure, a server certificate validation or a timeout"

Please suggest me steps if do I need to connect with server where intranet URL hosted or do j need to create any virtual gateway

I m really clueless with this type of requirement.

Ensure that the machine running Fabric Data Factory can access the intranet URL. Issues such as firewalls and proxies may be involved.

Verify that the DNS settings are configured correctly so that the machine running Fabric Data Factory can resolve the intranet URL.

If the intranet URL uses HTTPS, ensure that the server's SSL certificate is valid and trusted by the machine running Fabric Data Factory.

Check if there are any timeout settings in Fabric Data Factory that may cause the connection to fail. You may need to increase the timeout.

If the intranet URL is hosted on a different network, you may need to set up a virtual network gateway to bridge the networks. This can help ensure that Fabric Data Factory can access resources on the intranet.

Ensure that the basic authentication credentials are correct and that the server hosting the intranet URL accepts basic authentication.
