BUG::losing layout after closing and reopening pipeline

Issue:  rearrange your activities just the way you like it, save the pipeline, reopen the pipeline and all activies are rearranged to some default layout not matching your previous arrangement.

Motivation:  it's annoying because if you have lots of activities and want to keep things visible according to your personal visual layout scheme, well, you have to start rearranging every single time you reopen the pipeline.  If you have 10 or more activities, it gets really annoying as you want to go quickly about your task instead of messing around rearranging activity boxes every single bloody time.

STEPS

0__create a pipeline.

1__populate the pipeline with 10 or more activities.

2__rearrange them.

3__save.

4__reopen the pipeline, and voilà!  your layout has been reset.  😠

This is not a bug and an expected scenario similar to how it functions currently across PaaS Azure data factroy or Synapse pipelines.

You can submit an idea to the product team if need be to retain the layout as a functionality

I posted the issue on the Ideas forum... so no, my query was not answered as the issue remains. Until the product team implements a toggle in the UI settings for users who want to disable automatic layout on re-open, this issue will remain unanswered.
