Why can't I see my lakehouse delta tables on the SQL Analytics End Point?

Hi,

I have several delta tables on my lakehouse. Someof them filled by a dataflow gen2, others created by a pyspark notebook

But I am not able to see any of them on the Lakehouse SQL Analytics End Point. Why?

Thanks

Hi @alfBI ,

Thanks for the reply from @GaryH .

There is a known issue where delta tables do not show up in the SQL Analysis Endpoint Object Explorer. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this at the moment, you can keep an eye on this document and it will be updated if there is a workaround.

Known issue - Delta tables don't appear in SQL Analytics Endpoint Object Explorer - Microsoft Fabric...

The problem may be due to a schema mismatch. You may need to update the schema of the delta  tables or fix any schema mismatches to ensure that all tables are included in INFORMATION_SCHEMA.

More information about this can be found in the answer to this case:

Delta tables may not be visible if they were created using Spark code outside of the SQL analysis endpoint.

Thanks, but I don't think this is the issue.  The issues we're seeing have just started in the last few days, and this looks like it goes back to May.  Also, it seems to be directly related to the new capability for schemas in lakeshouses that have been added.

Yes, if the Lakehouse was made with the Schema (Preview) enabled then the SQL Analytics Endpoint won't work:

We've been having the same problem.  It seemed to occur when we selected the preview schemas feature when adding a new lakehouse, on this lakehouse no matter what we did the tables would not, it still won't show in the sql endpoint.

However, by not selecting the preview feature it seems to work.
