We use event streams to read data from kafka
Evenstreams consumes significant amount of CU and we want to have them actice only outside business hours
Is there a way to programmatically disbale/make evenstreams inactive (turning them on/off on a schedule)

As far as I am aware you currently can only update it in the interface.
I haven't seen any methods in the Fabric REST API for this. Might be worth double checking the roadmap (I haven't spotted a feature which would solve this)

As lbendlin , Expiscornovus said, current this operation seems not released to fabric REST API, you can only use them to get, create or delete specific eventsteam.

In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you submit ideas to release these type operations to the REST API.
BTW, since eventsteam is more related to the real time intelligence, you can also post to that sub-forum to get further support.
