I have a column which list customers, and I would like to create a measure that will populate a new column with a set numerical value based on an if statment that checks for a customer name. One issue, is that there are multiple individual instances with the customer name where part is always the same but the rest of the name is different.
For example
Mybusiness 005
Mybusiness 3265
The numbers indicate particular branches.
In excel the formula would be something like
if(s2="Mybusiness",6.10,0)
This checks the cell and if it contains the text Mybusiness anywhere in the cell, then the logic test is true and it would return 6.10. If the result was false then it would return 0
What is the Dax eqivilent to this?

Hey @Dean_Mcghee,
You can use the CONTAINSSTRING function:
contains =
IF ( CONTAINSSTRING ( table[column_name], "Mybusiness" ), 6.10, 0 )
If your string is case sensitive, use the CONTAINSSTRINGEXACT function.
