measure, 2 date columns within 1 table

I have a calender table calenderauto, and i have a table with 2 dates columns and i want to perform the below calculation to calculate the attrition rate
 
 
Current Staff =
VAR Max_Date =
MAX('Date'[Date])
VAR Min_Date =
MIN('Date'[Date])
Return
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(Manpower),
FILTER(Manpower,(Manpower[DOJ]>=Max_Date && Manpower[DOS]<=Min_Date && Manpower[DOS]<>BLANK())))

is above measure working or throwing any error?

I added a date slicer, it doesn't show any error however it doesn't show any data too
