lookupvalue Help

Hello,

I am new to power BI and DAX.  I am trying to do a lookupvalue function between 2 tables.  First, the tables are direct query.  

 

TableA has a date field that I need to add to TableB.  Both tables have a recordID. 

TalbeA has unique recordID, but TableB has duplicate entries for the recordID.

I just want to add the date from TableA to TableB, even to the duplicate recordID in TableB.  I am getting errors when trying the lookupvalue function.  Is there another way?
