Hi @krishna_murthy,
Just create a formatted date column that sorts correctly:
Date.ToText([YourDateColumn], "dd/MM/yyyy")In Data View:
Select the new formatted date column
Go to Column Tools → Sort by Column → Choose your original date column
In Report:
Use this new formatted date column in your slicer
It wll result that all users will see 12/11/2025 (DD/MM/YYYY) regardless of their system settings and the slicer will sort chronologically

Hi @krishna_murthy,
Alternatively, you can format the date as text in Power Query or duplicate and format your new column in order to don't remove relationships and then use it in your slicer control:
Text.Format("#{0:dd/MM/yyyy}", [Date])

@DataNinja777 --- Iam not looking for date format
iam looking for when i have added the date format 12/11/2025(DD/MM/YYYY) and published into workspace , same report client open their system then date format showing is 11/12/2025(MM/DD/YYYY).
i know the issue and soutions also this is occures google chrome date format issue ...usually by default in googe show format is ---- english (United Status) then we can change setting -----> lanugauge ---> English (United Kingdom).. then it will work as per our requirement.
But
Every client/user will not change the google format right then we have find out solutions ???
like when the user open the report then automatically date format will change and shows as DD/MM/YYYY .
Team, pleaes check and do the needful.
Hi Krishna,
The issue you are noting is the standard behavior due to locale setting. Each users have their locale setting, and the date will be displayed according to their setting. In order to resolve your pain point, you can use a calculated column like below to fix the date format and use that in the slicer.
Date Slicer (DD-MM-YYYY) = FORMAT( [YourDateColumnName], "dd/MM/yyyy" )
Resultant slicer will have exactly that date format regardless of the setting in locale. In order to ensure that the slicer is sorted in the date order, you can sort by the another date column in your calendar table.
