YoY calculation by changing values problem

Good morning community 

I have a problem to do with a measure that I can't solve. Thanks in advance for the help! 

I'm trying to make a measure that compares YoY differences but based on dimensions within my data that change from one year to the next. I have a matrix which shows how I am displaying my data for one year with the revenue numbers split up into different seasons depending on the order.

For the YoY comparison I want to compare seasons against the same season from last year (i.e. if I'm looking at AW24 Main in the current year, the last year comparison should be against AW23 Main). I can't work out how to dynamically select 'active' seasons in one year vs the active seasons from last year. 

Any help would be v much appreciated!

Transaction Season is a stand alone table because it's not like each day represents a given season. There are some days which have orders for three different seasons or more. Is there no way to code a dax formula that uses the fields SeasonCode and SubSeason Code and Year that takes the same season and subseason but subtracts 1 on the year field and then selects the returned season?

I want to create a measure that compares season CY vs season LY (i.e. SS24 Main vs SS23 Main). This field is taken from TransactionSeasonFinal from the TransactionSeasons table which filters data from the Sales table

What do we need a TransactionSeason for? You already have a calendar table? Would they correlate via the year or is the transaction season in a different timeframe?

With this structure you cannot get any dynamic YoY  calculation.
