Hi all
I have a staff list table where a new extract is appended to the table each week with a column stating which week each extract belongs to. So if we have a staff count of 5,000 employees and the table has 4 weeks of data then you'd see 20,000 records.
I would like a DAX expression that counts how many records (or employees) we see in each week and then provides an average. We have an employee number as our unique identifier e.g. 123456789.
This will provide me with an average head count for each week.
Thanks!
@Anonymous I believe there is some sort of date/time stamp when new employee records are inserted? Can you share sample data?
