You may have some of the dates stated as datetime so it is not probably catching it properly. Or as, @SQL_SousChef says, the Calendar table doesn't correspond to the dates in your table
Your month is blank in your second picture. Which makes me think your Date table does not have all of the dates in the table it is connected. So the 'Count of request item' number 15872 is the count of request items that are not in your date table dates. You can probably just use CALENDARAUTO to make your date time then add whatever columns are needed.
