URGENT! Help with split a column with letters! See picture attached.

Hi,

I need your expertise. I have a large dataset where one of the columns (Maintenance Contract Code) contains letters of one each, from A-D and Z.

Now I want to split the column so that I have one column only for the A's, one column with only the B's, one for the C's etc.

How do I do this?

I started out with duplicating the column, but got stuck in the 'Split column' tab, as I don't know whether I should split by delimiter?

I have attached a picture of the column so you can see. As you can see there's only one letter in each row.

Many thanks!!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try the conditional column to see if it helps you solve the problem.

You can set the conditions like this.

If you are trying to get several tables filtered by A,B,C,D,Z, you can copy several tables and then filter each table by a different letter.
