Hi,
I am new with Power BI and this is my first post here, I have a task to show trial balance of finance data. i have put a date slicer in which i select date range and all data filters automatically. but i need to put a column which will show the balance value of less than selected date (from date).
I have used two measures which are mentioned below. but the filter is not working and "Opening" shows complete data sum.
1. FirstSelectedDate = CALCULATE (MIN('Calendar'[Date]) ,ALLSELECTED('Calendar'))
2. Opening = CALCULATE(SUMX(ALL('Calendar'), [valDebit] - [valCredit] ), FILTER('Calendar', 'Calendar'[Date] < [FirstSelectedDate]))

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
