Total of MAX over time

Hi

How can I calculate the total over time ontop of the existing measures I have.

1. This calculates the MAX Budgeted Fee
BudFee_Max = MAX(FACT_MainTable[BudFee])

2. This calculates the SUM of the MAX Budgeted Fee per client
SUMBudFeeMax = SUMX(DISTINCT(DIM_Client[ClientNameFull]), [BudfeeMAX OG])

The reason I did this was due to my data having duplicated Budgeted Fee’s per month (The budgeted Fee can increase over time)

Figure 01: The Budgeted fee is actually just 680000 (so when it sums, I get a very large amount. I have resolved this with the above measures)

The problem I am now facing is when I want to a see the total amount over two years, I only get the MAX out of the two years, because there are new transactions for  existing clients.

How can I keep my MAX calculation in tact with provided totals over a time? Please help 😞

@Sabo256w , Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

Ideally, formula should work. Or you can try like

SUMBudFeeMax = SUMX(Values(DIM_Client[ClientNameFull]), [BudfeeMAX OG])
