I have what I think should be a very simple formula but I can not seem to work it out!
I have one date that I want to take away from another date and I want the output to be a number.........
example - Engineering sign off date - Supply chain sign off date = Turn around time
1/1/23- 5/1/23=4

You can use function DATEDIFF() function.
e.g Create a calculated column.
Column = DATEDIFF([Engineering sign off date],[ Supply chain sign off date],DAY)
