Hello,
This has to be the dumbest question I am asking, however, I am going to ask it anyway.
This is my data:
This is my chart:
I want the chart sorted from Highest to Lowest. These are my options to sort the chart:
I have tried all the combinations, and yet none of them are sorting the bars correctly.
ALSO,
is there any way to get rid of all the unessessary white space in the chart? Like bring the title much closer to the actual bars?
Thank you kindly!

Hi @e175429
Sorting the Bar Chart
To sort the bars correctly, select your chart and click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner. Choose Sort by >> the measure or field you want and then set it to Descending if you want highest to lowest. Make sure you are sorting by the numeric value, not the category name, otherwise the chart will look alphabetical instead of value-based. If it still doesn’t sort as expected, check if the field in your table is stored as text instead of number and fix the data type.
Removing Extra White Space
Open the Format pane of your chart and go to the Y-axis/X-axis options. Reduce the inner padding so the bars sit closer together and remove the extra gap. You can also adjust the title position, margins, and labels to bring the chart area tighter to the bars. In some cases, turning off unnecessary labels or resizing the chart frame also helps reduce empty space.
