    Sorting the Bar Chart
    To sort the bars correctly, select your chart and click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner. Choose Sort by >> the measure or field you want and then set it to Descending if you want highest to lowest. Make sure you are sorting by the numeric value, not the category name, otherwise the chart will look alphabetical instead of value-based. If it still doesn’t sort as expected, check if the field in your table is stored as text instead of number and fix the data type.

    Removing Extra White Space
    Open the Format pane of your chart and go to the Y-axis/X-axis options. Reduce the inner padding so the bars sit closer together and remove the extra gap. You can also adjust the title position, margins, and labels to bring the chart area tighter to the bars. In some cases, turning off unnecessary labels or resizing the chart frame also helps reduce empty space.
