Sorting Clustered Column Chart

Hi,

I have a clustered column chart that I would like to have sorted based on ascending or descending order of the Y axis. I have the total downtime as my Y axis, and the dt category as my legend. Currently it is sorting the columns based on the alphabetical order of the downtime category instead of the total minutes of downtime for each.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Can you add some sreenshots around the issue you are seeing?

I don't see this happening at my end.

I created a clustered column chart as shown below:

Now if I want to sort based on gross-income (my y-axis), I get an option to do it:

Once sorted I get the chart as follows:

Pragati11_4-1663686081821.png

This is descending order by default. This can be changed to ascending as well:

The result is:

Pragati11_7-1663686172682.png

Let me know if you see a different behaviour. Add more details.

Hi @Pragati11,

This worked thank you for the help! I just had to move my descriptor column to the x axis rather than the legend section. I am very new to the  application and appreciate you taking the time!
