Slow Performance in Filtering with DAX

Hi,

I have a Vehicle Dimension (Type 2) which has the following data:

ID              Reg                  Current Id           Status

1               L10 HWJ                0                     Active

2               L10 HWJ                0                     Active

3               L10 HWJ                1                     InActive

I want a flag on my Vehicle dimension to show if the current status is InActive. Therefore, my DAX is:

_InActiveIndicator = CALCULATE(SUM('Dim Vehicle'[Current Ind]),FILTER('Dim Vehicle','Dim Vehicle'[Current Ind] = 1 && 'Dim Vehicle'[Status] = "InActive"))

Is there a way to have this as a slicer to say Yes Or No. I haven't got access to the source data.

Thanks,

Hi @VendettaBob ,

Hope I understood this, is this what your are after? I added a column in pbi for the slicer

Is InActive = if(veh[Current Id  ] = "1" && veh[Status] = "InActive","Yes","No")

If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos are nice too.
