Hi,
I have some volume deals data in a time series. Row data includes execution date (day deal was made), the start and end date for the for which the volume will be transferred, the number of days between both dates (term) and corresponding volume sold across that period. I was wanting to figure out for a given date what the volume would be sold.
I have created another column which states for each transaction how much volume per day on average will be sold. I have managed to figure this out in Excel using : SUMPRODUCT(A6:A367, (I6 >= I6:I367)*(I6 < P6:P367)) <-- where the first array is the calculated volume per day and the latter is the expression to sum up the first array to.
I have looked through a variety of forum posts and other related dax posts and nothing has been helpful so far. I know I need to use SUMX however having tried : SUMX( 'table', IF( AND([Date] >= [start date], [Date] < [end date]), SUM([calc column]), 0)) <-- This is resulting in row outputs of the sum of the calculated column or multiples of the sum of the calculated column.
Thank you in advance
