Good morning,
I am trying to create a measure that allows for data to be selected without having to use a slicer nor filter
in the visual.
Table = Food
Column = Category
Data = Fruits, Vegetables
Is it possible and/or am I using the tool correctly to create a measure that will select a sub-set of the table
food, in this case.
1. Measure to filter by 'Fruits'
2. Then, create measure to count the number of 'Fruits' in the table.
I have successfully created a measure using the DISTINCT function to extract/display a DISTINCT listing
of the category column (Fruits, Vegetables) and it worked.
The people using the report do not want to use slicers nor filters, just want to view the report as is.
Thanks in advance.
