## Running Total Expression

I am trying to calculate the Running total of Backlog count of tickets . I am gettting the Total But there is a requirement : If i am selecting any month then First i need to cumilate the Data up to that month and need to show the Backlog trend from that point .

Please find the Sample data and Expected output Below .

 Year-Month Count Running Total(Expected Output) 2021-Jan 10 10 2021-Feb 20 30 2021-Mar 0 30 2021-Apr 2 32 2021-May 15 47 2021-Jun 1 48 2021-Jul 10 58 2021-Aug 13 71 2021-Sep 0 71

By Default The Table should Show Running Total Heirarchy from 2021-Jan to 2021-Sep , But If i am selecting the Month From 2021-Apr The Table should change as below . Please help on this .

 Year-Month Count Running Total(Expected Output) 2021-Apr 2 32 2021-May 15 47 2021-Jun 1 48 2021-Jul 10 58 2021-Aug 13 71 2021-Sep 0 71

Could you please try the following?

``````Running total =
SUMX(
WINDOW(
1, ABS,
0, REL,
ALL( Table[Year-Month] ),
ORDERBY( Table[Year-Month], ASC )
),
CALCULATE( SUM( Table[Count] ) )
)``````
