I have a DAX measure similar to below :
VAR filter1 = selectedvalue(dimAccount[AccountID],0) -- this comes from a slicer
VAR filter 2 = selectedvalue(dimAccount2[AccountID],0) - this comes from a different slicer
VAR filter 3 = selectedvalue(dimAccount3[AccountID],0) - this comes from a third slicer
Var q = CALCULATETABLE(Sales,ALL(AccountID), Sales[AccountID] = filter1)
Var r = CALCULATETABLE(Sales,ALL(AccountID), Sales[AccountID] = filter2)
Var s = CALCULATETABLE(Sales,ALL(AccountID), Sales[AccountID] = filter3)
var z = CALCULATETABLE(Sales,ALL(AccountID))
I need to RETURN countrows(q, r, s,z) depending on the value of SELECTEDITEMS i.e. if filter2, filter3 are empty, return q. If filter1 is empty return z.
I'm struggling to condtionally return based the value of a var. Is this possible?
Hi @Anonymous
you may try
RETURN
COUNTROWS ( UNION ( q, r, s, z ) )
