Hello, my name is Bennet and I could really use some help from the community.
I have production data in kilograms, as well as associated scrap data also in kilograms. I can easily display this in a bar chart and then select the individual day with a different visual.
Now to the problem: I would now like to display the percentage of rejects in my total production quantity (since the start of recording) per day. As a previous solution, I have the following measure: AverageRejectTotal = CALCULATE(AVERAGE(Production[Rejects]), ALL(Production)); My table is called "Production" here.
However, it now calculates an average value for the individual values for rejects per day. However, I would like to have the share of the sum of rejects in the total production volume. Does anyone have a solution here?
I thank you once again for any help. Kind regards Bennet
Hello, many thanks for the answer.
As an example, I have the scrap quantities 68 kg, 202 kg, 40 kg and 22 kg for May 1st, 2023. These result from different production lines. This includes a total production volume of 4,000 kg, for example. I would now like to display the added sum of one day's rejects of the total production volume (since the data was recorded).
Once again many thanks.
Hi Bennet - much easier if you attach some sample data redacted in what ever way you choose and maybe a snapshot of the visual you have.
