Parameter / LookupValue / Slicer

HELP! What I would like is a slicer to control a parameter. That will be combined with a column that results in a lookupvalue from another table. Any ideas? FYI, I am a rookie that is learning on the fly. TABLE is 'CUCDataOH-OR-TR' PARAMETER is Priority IDTR = Priority[Priority Value]&" - "&'CUCDataOH-OR-TR'[Whse] My "Priority" slicer works fine, but doesn't update in the table above If it works properly it will lead to this blow TransferToWhse = LOOKUPVALUE(TrPriorityShip[To Whse],TrPriorityShip[IDTR],'CUCDataOH-OR-TR'[IDTR]) @amitchandak

@ybicalways , Not very clear, You need share a data example.

1. A slicer can not initialize another slicer.

2. We can reduce value of another slicer

To do that we can use a common fact or A measure to pass the value.

Assume Dim1 and Dim2 has common fact. Then you can use countrows(fact)  not blank in the slicer's visual level filter

Assume Table 1 and Table 2 are independent tables with common column A

then  for Table a

Create measure

countrows(Filter(Table1, Table1[A] in values(Table2[A] ) ) , Again use this in the slicer of table1 a s visual level filter and check for not blank

if you want to copy values across

refer 4 ways to copy data from one table to another
