Not all Data fields available when writing DAX formulas when trying to create a new measure.

Why is it that the Excel imported table on the top is visible in Dax for autocomplete and the table labled FabPwrBIData does not show up why writing formulas? I thought I created both tables the same way but may be missing something.

Hi @Anonymous

if you create a measure you will not be able to use column name by itself without any aggregation like min(Table[Column]) or MAX(Table[Column]) or filtering like ALLSELECTED(Table[Column]) or SELECTEDVALUE(Table[Column])

It is because measures are working with all the data in context
