Not able to filter by different column

Hi guys,

 

unfortunately I am not able to filter through another colum for the following measure:

 

ActualsPriorPeriod =
Var MonthDifference = (DATEDIFF(FIRSTDATE(Period[Date]);LASTDATE(Period[Date]);Month)) + 1
Var StartPeriod = EDATE(FIRSTDATE(Period[Date]); -MonthDifference)
Var EndPeriod = FIRSTDATE(Period[Date]) -1
Return CALCULATE(GuV_Facts[GuV_Actual];DATESBETWEEN(Period[Date];StartPeriod;EndPeriod))
 
If I set a filter for Period[Date], I can filter. But if I set a filter for another column within the period-table, the does not show a result anymore.
 
Any ideas, what the problem could be?
