Hello there - is there a financial modelling pathway in Power BI yet? I'm looking to create next level finance matrix reporting and I'm massively struggling! Any help or pointers to relevant resources will be highly appreciated.
For example, I'm trying to replicate this table in PBI to no avail - where rows are measures and columns are the last six months' or 3 months data and then the YTD column as well.

You will need to have Sales and Profit created as measures in your report. Add them to to a matrix.
Then drag your date data into Columns it should look something like (if its a date hierarchy):
and if you drill down..
Then go to your visualization pane > format visual (paintbrush) > Values > Options > turn on "Switch values to rows"
