First post here 🙂 Let's see if I can make any sense.
My main table, Table1, needs a new column with numbers from column A in Table3. Table1 has a column with IDs that match a column in Table2. Table2 has another column with names that match column B in Table3. I need to use LOOKUP and perhaps RELATED to get the numbers from column A in Table3 into a new column in Table1.
So far I've only figured out how top to get numbers from "one table away".
Can you help me out? Thanks in advance:)
I’m gonna answer my own question and say that I could make a new column in Table2 with the numbers I need from Table3. Then I can use lookup to make the column I need in Table1 with the new info I now have in Table2. Right?!
But there must be a way to do this in one step, or..?
