I have Pivoted data and it has to be used that way, we cannot unpivot it.
type | dollar | Units | Average Price (Calculated) = dollar/units |
Average | 198629 | 400 | 497 |
Base | 174969 | 200 | |
Incremental | 23660 | 200 |
I have created 2 measures :
Average Price = dollar/units where type =Average
Dollar Lift = Incremental Dollar/Base Dollar
I need to create a table visual like this
Bins for average price | Average Price | Dollar Lift |
300 to 400 | 497 | 0.135222165 |
400 to 500 |
But according to the measures created, The dollar lift is not coming on the same line as average price instead it is on some other row. How to ignore the type of pricing to calculate dollar lift for that average price. (Note : Base + Incr = Average always)
Bins for average price | Average Price | Dollar Lift |
300 to 400 | 497 | |
400 to 500 | ||
0.135222165 |
we cannot unpivot it.
I'd like to challenge you on that. Data format in Power Query must be strict so that the Power BI UI can be flexible.
