I want to create a report like train railway system. if we want to travel one place to another place. will have a multiple trains in that day, some are special train that only available on two days interval or two weeks interval or monthly interval, some local train may run and reach the destination multiple times in a day.
but while introduce or launch the train we have a train details like below,
Train Name - Train 1
Train Start date - 24-jan-2024
Train Start Time - 12:00 PM
Runs - days
repeat - 1 (days and 1 means it will run daily 12:00 PM)
I want to create a power bi report to find the selected date this train will run or not.
If I select only one date in dropdown (31-jan-2024)
This train count should show in 12;00 - 01:00 time bucket.
if i select any future like 25-Jul-2024, that also it should show.
how can we acheive this, we don't have a run history data based on the intervals only we have find the count on the selected data.
One more scenarion
Train Name - Train 2
Train Start date - 24-jan-2024
Train Start Time - 08:00 AM
Runs - Weekly
repeat - 1 (weekly and 1 means it will run weekly once at 08:00 AM)
24-Jan-2024 is wednesday, after 7 only it will run.
between the 25-jan-2024-31st-Jan-2024 it wont run(means this count shouldn't come on that between dates)
