Greetings to all, I trust you're all in good health. I'm currently endeavoring to make the column header in my table view dynamic based on the selected date filter. To achieve this, I've employed a parameter and devised the following formula:
`
Parameter = (
MAX('Date'[Year Date].[Year]) & " LTM",
NAMEOF('LTM measure'[TY LTM]),
0
)
This formula is indeed functional, but it provides the maximum year from the available data. What I'm aiming for, however, is to have the header display the current year based on the selected date value. I've attached a screenshot for reference and would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.
Hi @ap08rock ,
According to your statement, I think Parameter should be a column instead of a measure.
As far as I know, Power BI doesn't support column to be dynamic.
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can vote up this idea for this function:
Or you can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
