Hello Everyone,
I need to calculate a simple sum of the duration of a job. Thing is, the page as two slicers: one for selecting YEAR(SLICER 1) and the other for job location(SLICER2).
Table 1: Date
Table 2: Job&Locations
Table 3: Durations
The only relationships I seem to be able to create is a 1-to-many from Table 1[Date] to Table2[Date] and Table3[Date]
I tried different dax options but they all give the same result because they arent being filtered by SLICER2.
dax:
Measure1 =
CALCULATE(
sum(Table3[Duration]),
SUMMARIZE(
Table2,
Table2[Location],
),FILTER(Table1, SELECTEDVALUE(Table1[YEAR]))
)This seems to be a relationship problem between table2 and 3, but i can only make many-to-many. Is there any workaround in dax?
Thank you all.
hi @Kebas_Leech
Seems doable. Could you paste some sample data of the mentioned tables?
