Measure summing 2 different columns, but with 2 different conditions

Hello Guys,

I need to create a measure to sum 2 different columns, but only when 2 status are matched, one after another.

Here the thing:

1st Column - "Indemnified Value"

2 nd Colum - "Estimated Loss"

Column that will work as reference to the filter - "Status" - considering 2 conditions: "Payed" or "in Progress"

What I need is sum the values from the "Indemnified Value" only when the status is "Payed", if dont, consider in the sum the values from the "Estimated Loss" column, only if the status is "In Progress" in the Status column.

Historycal Claim = IF(
CALCULATE(
SUM('Property'[Claim Payed]),
'Property'[Status]="Payed",
calculate(
sum('Property'[Estimated Loss]),
'Property'[Status]="In Progress")

Thank you so much,

You have gaps in your logic table. Please provide sample data in usable format (not as a picture)  and show the expected outcome for all scenarios.
