Hi everyone,
I try to make a measure that counts the installed based of our active systems.
With the fuction count it is possible to count the installed based, but my challange is the inactive/active systems in a certain period.
For example on 01-01-2023 there is an installed based of 1000, on 01-07-2023 there are 300 systems that we make inactive.
By check the installed based on 01-01-2023 showed the installed based of 700. What can I do to solved this ?
I have 2 tables:
Like below:
Anyone have the solution?
Greets,
Jeffrey
@AnonymousI take a look of the link. But I think it is not the solution that I'm looking for.
Hi @Jeffrey_VC,
Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep the raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.

Hi @Anonymous , How can I share/upload a PBIX?
HI @Jeffrey_VC,
You can upload to network drive and create a share link here or directly paste the data here as table format.
Notice: please not attach sensitive data in your files or sample data.

Hi @Anonymous,
I have place the pbix on:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_q3_Qz0S5BS2HanAEhQCugT9bpTIuv5E/view?usp=drive_link
The table "vc_frontend" are all the systems.
The table "Hist_frontend" showed the history of the installation(s).
When the installation is stuck of replaced, the table "hist_frontend wil be filled with start or enddate. (or both).
I need the install based by month of the installations with no enddate from the table hist_frontend. If a installation have a enddate I need to count them till the endate.
Hopefully this is clear for you.
Greats, Jeffrey
Hi @Jeffrey_VC,
I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following link about use EXCEPT function to compare current and previous record list to get specific status of records:
