***Requirement - show correct Margin in the Matrix visual while still having the 'Show Data Point as a Table' Option***
Hi All,
Let me explain my problem in detail.
I have a Matrix Visual that needs a margin calculation as one of the values. The data contains users who have paid for goods.
Each day has multiple users paying for goods. I have created a margin column in the Back end of the data (SQL Server) as well as in powerbi as a column. [Formula = Profit/Revenue (as a percentage column)]
When I display the margin for each day (or each month), the value comes out inflated/higher. Where as, when I use a measure, it comes out right.
PS - The reason I want to create a column and not a measure is because when I use a measure in the Matrix visual I lose the 'Show Data Point as a table' option, Which is a critical requirement.
If there is an option to still have the option 'Show Data Point as a table' using a measure, I would gladly accept it.
Please advice. I am stuck with this for a week.
