MTD Year over YEAR

Hi Guys,

I an facing some issue in Dax.

I want to calculate Year over Year Change for MTD. Like for Feb'20 i have data till feb so I want in YOY change it should select data for 2019  feb only.

But somehow it is taking taking Full year 2019 data.

 

Can you pls help me out here.

So, if you do it the time intelligence way you would use something like:

  CALCULATE([MTD Measure],SAMPERIODLASTYEAR('Calendar'[Date]))

 

Or if that frustrates you to no end, See if my Time Intelligence the Hard Way provides a different way of accomplishing what you are going for.
