Line Graphs to Show fixed Start and End Date when report loads and Change after slicer selection.

I have a 2 line graphs showing weekly and monthly trends in my report , where in I need to show only fixed start and end dates ( Current Month+ Last 6 Months for monthly and last Current Week + Last 6 weeks for weekly) when the report loads.

when report loads

however when the user selects slicer only then graph should reflect the months based on user selection. other wise it should stay with same start and end dates when report is loaded.

change in the graph after user selection is anyways happening now , but the point of showing current month + last 6 months by default is something I am not able to acheive , any help ??

I have a separate date table with MonthName , Linked to Measures table through date column.

@daXtreme book mark is kind of static right, where I would be seeing data for a fixed dates.

what I want is to show last currentmonth + last 6months where dates are dynamic .

Creating a bookmark with the initial setting and then setting the report to show what's been saved in the bookmark does not do the job?
