LASTNONBLANKVALUE not working where there are mutiple values for the same date

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone knows how to make LASTNONBLANK dax funtion to work when there are mutiple values for the same date or datekey ? below is my table and the dax I used and atm when I use LASTNOBLANK in a calculatetable I get blank values for this ID as it doesn't know which one to pick ! I want it to just pick one randomly....

LASTNONBLANKVALUE (

                'Fact'[DateKey],

                SELECTEDVALUE ('Dimension'[Residential_Status] ))

actually ignore me that seems to be working when I have date filter, Thank you so much.

I have tried that , but that returns the value alphabetically disregarding the max date
