Hi!
I have a table that houses payments with the date, year, payment number, amount and if the recipeint wants their payment mailed. A person may wish to have it mailed in one year, but change to no mailing in the next year. The underlying data will update the recipents profile for all payments (past and future). Is there any way to keep certain data static at year end? In my example, Mike, Carl and Jasmine wanted their Sept 2023 checks mailed. In Feb 2024 they changed their mind. I need the values in yellow to stay Y for those payments at that point in time, no matter how their profile changes for the next year. Thank you!
Not sure if this will help but I think help writing this logic would help me:
If date = current year then keep mailed service value. If date= PY, then take the last value in that year.
