KPI - YTD with Live Dataset & Filtering Out Future Deals

Hi,

I am trying to find the YTD % of 'Deals originated by team X'. I have derived the % deals by them for the Previous Month KPI by dividing 'Total Deals by Team X' by 'Total Deals', then filtering the visual by 'Closing Date' as last calendar month. 

I need to get YTD% but I am using a live dataset so don't have a 'Calendar'[Date] column, just Closing Date (the deals closing date), and I need to get the % deals with a closing date of up to today, as certain deals that have a Closing Date in the future need filtering out which is why filtering by relative date -is in this - year does not give the correct %. I hope this is clear please ask if you require further explanation, thanks!

I need Deals by Sales W&R/Deals W&R as YTD% in a KPI, but there are closing dates in the future so need the % for up to today. (Using a Power BI dataset so can't create new tables/columns).
