I have a hierarchy which is a bit mixed, using columns from different Dimensions. The hierarchy is:
Name
Parent
Client Sold
Client Pay
Contract.
I am displaying them in a matrix visual.
As 'values' I have some measures from the Fact table. Now, I have as a requirement to show the ‘address’ of the 'Client Pay' as ‘Values’ too
As expected, the problem is that the data only makes sense if I drill down to the ‘client pay’ level… otherwise when aggregated of course it just picks the ‘first address’ and makes no sense.
Is there a way to show blank, until the user drills down at the ‘client pay’ level?
(I am consuming a lot of data, so I was looking for an optimal way of achieving this…)
Hi @Anonymous
I understand that you have your hierarchy on the rows and your measures on the values. If you have nothing on the coumns the it would be feasible to add the client pay to values of the matrix as a measure
Client Pay Measure =
SELECTEDVALUE ( Table[Client Pay] )
can you please explain further the level of aggregation at eact hierarchy?
