Hi All,
Hope everyone is well and safe. 🙂
I would like to create this kind of visualization in Power BI. I have 2 main datasets, one shows budget seperately and the other shows actuals and forecasts together.
I want to create a dynamic matrix. I mean, in this example since financial year starts at June in my case, "month 5" corresponds to October. When we are in December, I want to be seen "month 6" in matrice. Also, my aim is to show next 3 forecasted value. Is it possible to create such kind of visualization? I am okay to seperate budget, actuals and forecasts into three matrices. But I could not find correct dax expression for this aim.
I created a matrice with limited information, but I did it, but I need to update dates manually every month which is not efficient.
Is there anyone who created this kind of visualization before?
Hi @Anonymous
You can create measures to calculate the month corresponding to the selected month and next 3 forecasted value . Then add these measures in Matrix , through slicer to filter the value of month in Matrix visual .
If it's convenient, can you provide your original data and maybe I can try to find a solution for you .
