How to add prior year variance into visual among specific grouping

What I’m trying to accomplish?

• Looking for a way to show the prior year variance between each grouping (PY$, Lost$ and Retention)
• Moving 2023 in front of 2022
• Sorting in descending order by PY$

See attached.  You can sort a column by another column as long as you can avoid the curcular reference. Conveniently you have both a yyyymm and a yymm column.  

There is a new feature called field parameters that simplifies your measure selection and also allows sorting by PY$.

Not sure what you mean by variance - is that the same as YoY%  ?
