How to add columns for month and year from dates column

Need to create month and year columns for the following:

Screen shot below.

• closedate
• createdate
• lastmodifieddate

Hi @PBI-Curious 

The best practice here would be to create a date table with those columns and split your closedate, createddate & lastmodifieddate into date and time columns in power query (or get rid of the time part if it's not going to be used)
