Hi Everyone,
First time posting so go easy on me.
I am looking for a way to achieve the below result that Columns A+B+C+D=E
But if Column E is greater than 80% of Column F, it will be formatted Red.
| Stored Red Apples | Stored Blue Apples | Shipped Red Apples | Shipped Blue Apples | Total Apples | Limit |
| 1 | 1 | 1 | 4 | 7 | 10 |
| 1 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 8 | 10 |
Hope this makes sense.....
You can do conditional formatting based on the value of a field - and that can be a field that isn't even on the visual.
bgcolor = if(A+B+C+D >= F*.8,"Red")
Thanks @lbendlin
Could i trouble you to walk me through that.
For example when i try to set up the conditional formatting, it doesnt let me put in any formula so to speak.
@lbendlin - in a bit more relevance to my data set. Am i creating a new measure with something like the below examples?
bgcolor = if('ALL COLUMNS'[Totals Billed and Unbilled] >= ('ALL COLUMNS'[Overall Limit] *.8,"Red")
=IF(('All Columns'[Overall Limit])>('All Columns'[Totals Billed and Unbilled])*80%,"greater","less")
