Hello everyone! Hoping everything is going well!
I've been a long time trying to figure out how to find the difference between two rows in a matrix. What I want is to compare two values in different periods of time. For example if for DH-1 in May I have 7.3% and in June 6.6%, I would like to calculate (7.3%-6.6% = 0.7%).
Here it is the link to my power bi file:
Thank you very much!!
Hello @lbendlin!
Thank you very much for your reply and feedback!
What I would like to do in this dashboard is to compare two different dates, for example may vs june or 1-7 june vs 1-7 july. That's why I thought about the two date slicers and the two matrix, do you thinks there's another way I can design it?
On the other hand, If there is only one matrix like in page (Pruebas (2) in the link) is it possible to create a meassure which calculates the difference between two months?
Thank you again for your support!!
find the difference between two rows in a matrix.
That's not what you present in your sample file.
You have two separate matrix visuals and you have modified the "Edit interactions" for the date slicers. You may want to rethink your design choices here, as it will likely be impossible for a measure to read the current value of the filtered date range. (interesting question how that is governeded by the Edit Interactions - will need to investigate.)
