Requirement:
I have a requirement to do a calculation that will inform our client what their consumption should be based on historical consumption. The Business user requested that I do a linear regression calculation and provide a single value which would be considered as a projected consumption amount for year 1 and another as projected consumption for year 2.
This would be based on fields. Totalusage, Username, YearMonth. The result should be presented as a single value only for year 1 and a single value for year 2. So end of 2024 and end of 2025.
There should be a seaparate projection for each client.
I am not so sure how to go about doing this. There will be no visual, just a projected value entered in a table. I would appreciate any help to solve this.
Tables: Date( Date, Year-Month), Usage: ( Total Used), Clients( Clientname)
