Hello there!
I need help understanding how to properly count all rows in a table that contains the specific character.
A little bit more details - we're using Google Analytics to get data from our website. Upon selecting a particular town (which is a column I added with Query editor by using "Column from example") I am presented with a list of pages (without HostName dimension) for that town on my table and with other details on other visuals. This is perfect.
What I am struggling to understand is how to count rows in that table, so that I know how many pages are there for that particular town that I select?
I tried using this formula:
TotalPages = CALCULATE( COUNT('TPH'[Page]), 'TPH'[Page] = "-" ) And this does not work.
This means that I want to count all pages that contain "-" character only for any town that I filter my reports with.
Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
Hi @DaliborBoldis .
Try this measure
TotalPages =
COUNTROWS (
FILTER (
'TPH'[Page],
CONTAINSSTRING (
'TPH'[Page],
"-"
)
)
)

Harsh Nathani
