Gantt chart with "variable columns"

I have an excel based power bi report with a gantt chart that chooses the start and finish dates into 6 possible columns. The excel says which of the six columns are start and finish. I must create 2 new columns that import the dates according to the selected column so that the gantt chart can read from these two columns.
